Level: 60-90K Based on proven experience.
Hours:As assigned (Sun-Thurs are main work days, Fri-Sat are days off with exceptions like weddings, funerals, and other special church events).

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
The LLP reports directly to the Executive Pastor of the Community Church Movement.
SCOPE & DIMENSIONS:
Leads and Interacts with all staff, volunteers, members, and guests at Imperial Beach Church to ensure CCM "Essential Systems” are running properly, producing engagement and growth in the church.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Weekly Worship Services and Guest Experience
Provide leadership and execution for weekly worship services in cooperation with the CCM worship service plan. Ensure building of all worship service ministry teams through recruitment, care and leadership ladder development at all levels, teams, and roles (worship, production, prayer, set-up, clean-up teams)
Ensure the Street-to-Seat experience is clear, warm and welcoming for those new to coming to church. This includes parking, greeters, ushers, coffee, safety, and 5-in-5 Teams.
2. Rooted and Growth Groups
These are our primary ongoing discipleship environments in the church. Rooted is a first step 10-week experience. Growth Groups are ongoing environments. Both Rooted & Groups generally have 2-3 launches and on ramps each year. Identify, invite, train and launch new group leaders and groups (couples, mens, womens - minimum offering) ensuring there is sufficient group capacity to meet the growing numbers and needs of the church.
3. Kids and Student Programs (Next Gen)
Lead, encourage, and coach the kids ministry and student ministry staff as they run the CCM ministry playbook.
Kids ministry is birth - elementary grades aligning with the local school system. Ensure clean, safe, fun environments that kids want to be in, and parents want to drop kids off to.
Student ministry is 6th or 7th - 12th grade aligning with the local school system. Depending on the size of the church location this can be 1 large program although 2 programs dividing middle school and high school is preferred. Provide middle school ministry during weekly worship services. High School ministry can be midweek only or on included on Sunday depending on community needs.
4. Next Right Steps
Provide oversight, clear pathways and ensure follow up to the NRS opportunities within our church (Discover class, water baptism, communion, prayer, serve on a ministry team, serve projects in the community, child dedications, weddings, funerals, care, etc.)
5. Core Processes
Implement and follow the core processes of the CCM. This includes the guest follow-up system, the generosity system, volunteer onboarding & scheduling system, children’s check-in system, worship music system, review and goal setting system, etc.
6. Be FOR Our Community
Lead in building relationships out in the community with city government leaders, public schools and partner organizations in our city. Look for ways that our church can bless and serve the city. Lead, organize, and mobilize the church for our yearly serve the city focus.
7. Leadership Development & Team Culture
Ensure the development of leaders at all levels of the leadership ladder in each ministry and team.
R.E.P (Receive Embrace and Promote) mission, vision, values, and culture of the CCM to staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment across all ministry areas.
Hire and lead all local church staff to build a healthy culture where all staff feel valued, supported, and connected to the mission. Follow review & goal setting systems with all staff.
Promote collaboration across all ministries and locations, ensuring strong communication and shared ownership.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to recruit, train, and motivate, staff, volunteers, and church members.
- Natural bent towards growth and achievement.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in ministry, theology, or a related field preferred but not required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Additional duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The position is primarily pastoral but currently requires the ability to set up and tear down.
- The LLP will travel to other locations for staff meetings, leadership gatherings, trainings, and collaborative planning sessions. Reliable transportation is required.
- Frequent evening and weekend work is expected to accommodate ministry activities, volunteer coordination, and community engagement.
